December 3-7, 2017 Sebastopol CA ELMP Graduate Meditation Retreat

Embodied Life Meditation Retreat at Sophia's Sanctuary in Sebastopol

Dear Embodied Life Grads,

The upcoming Embodied Life Graduate Meditation Retreat will take place from Sunday December 3

(6:00 pm dinner) - Thursday Dec. 7 at breakfast (ending about 9:00 am). People who are also attending the Gratitude and Forgiveness Retreat from Nov. 30 - Dec. 3 at Santa Sabina are welcome to arrive earlier.

The daily schedule will be:

 7:00-8:10 - Meditation

8:45 -  Breakfast

10:00 - 1:00pm Class

1:00 - Lunch

3:30 - 6:00 Class

6:00 - Dinner

7:30 - Meditation

All meals other than first night and last night will be in silence.

At other times, silence is encouraged outside the teaching room (Sanctuary).

We will all cooperate together with cleaning dishes and caring for the space.

The focus of the seminar is on our meditation practice including physical and mental posture.

We will also offer guidance for guiding others in meditation.

The recommended cost for the teachings is $350 (Reminder - new policy: for graduate events, we recommend a price and you are free to choose according to your means)

Depending on the size of the group, we will need to access local housing options through airbnb and a local hotel. {For example, there is a lovely three bedroom house that is less than ten minute walk and a one minute drive which can sleep up to 6 people}.

On the property there is room for 12. Most of the spaces are doubles. Life at Sophia's Sanctuary is more rustic than Santa Sabina or Angela Center, with most people needing to go to the bathhouse for shower and rest room facilities. We will house people on the property on a first come basis.

Food is $160 for all 11 meals (from dinner Sunday – breakfast on Thursday).

There is no space for individual food items, we will do our best to meet your dietary needs.

 There are 3 single rooms - $ 40. per night or $160

Double room  - $30. per night or $120
